Despite being out of college and pro football for nearly a decade, former Ohio State star running back Maurice Clarett sure seems to be in the news a lot.
Just weeks after Clarett made headlines for saying he made more money in college than in the UFL, police are seeking Clarett’s girlfriend in Columbus, OH, for allegedly assaulting him by punching and biting him at their home on Saturday. The couple has a six-year-old daughter together.
Clarett, 29, is currently living in the college town where he became famous for leading the Buckeyes to the 2002 national title as a freshman. He now gives motivational speeches, attends church-ministry classes and is reportedly self-publishing a book called “A Season of Thoughts.”
