Alleged Tiger Woods mistress Rachel Uchitel has apparently moved from the links to the gridiron, as TMZ.com is reporting she married former Penn State fullback Matt Hahn last Sunday in Sin City.
TMZ claims that Uchitel and Hahn were in Las Vegas attending the wedding of a friend when they spontaneously tied the knot at the Little White Chapel, where Britney Spears married childhood friend Jason Alexander in 2004 before it was annulled.
We know, how romantic.
What you probably didn’t realize is that Hahn, 26, was in Penn State’s backfield from 2004-07, where he carried the ball 34 times for 134 yards and one touchdown in his career.
Hahn, an insurance broker, told the New York Post in March that he and Uchitel met through Facebook last fall (and they say chivalry is dead). The two are reportedly living together in San Francisco. When asked about her past, Hahn told the Post, “I don’t judge anybody.”
Uchitel, a decade older at 36, is infamous for her alleged affair with golfer Tiger Woods that the National Enquirer reported in 2009 after allegedly meeting him as a VIP hostess at The Griffin nightclub in Manhattan. Tragically, Uchitel was also engaged to investment banker James Andrew O’Grady, who was killed in the World Trade Center attack on September 11, 2001.
Between meeting on Facebook to a shotgun wedding in Vegas, it was certainly a bizarre sequence of events that led to the engagement between Hahn and Uchitel, but we wish them the best.
Hmm, we wonder what 84-year-old Nittany Lions coach Joe Paterno will get them for a wedding gift…
