Ex-Duck McLemore Helping H.S. Recruits

Twenty years ago, wide receiver Christian McLemore caught the eyes of Oregon recruiters for his exploits at Marina High School in Huntington Beach, CA. At his current job, he’s trying to help today’s recruits do the same.

McLemore is a video production and football specialist with Blue Chip Sports, a Portland company that allows high school athletes across all sports make highlight videos of their athletic exploits to show potential college recruiters. In addition, McLemore has served as a guest panelist on “Inside the Pac” on Eugene’s KVAL-TV while earning his bachelor’s degree from Oregon in 2010.

With the Ducks, McLemore was a big-play receiver who set a since-broken record for TD receptions in a season (10) in 1993. He also helped lead Oregon to the 1995 Rose Bowl, in which he caught a TD pass. McLemore still holds the career record for TD grabs (24) along with Jeff Maehl and Keenan Howry.
