Florida starting QB Jeff Driskel experienced the Twitter equivalent of getting his hand caught in the cookie jar on Saturday.
Driskel tweeted out, “Bored.” It’s seemingly as innocuous a tweet as it can get, especially considering what other college football players have landed in hot water for. Of course, he didn’t anticipate any of his coaches reading that tweet.

That’s Florida’s offensive coordinator, Brent Pease, with the witty reply. It’s not only great comedic timing from Pease, it’s also largely true. The Gators’ hopes of contending for a national title largely depend on Driskel greatly exceeding his 1,646 yards and 12 TD passes from a season ago.
