ESPN college football sideline reporter Jenn Brown made a cameo on the CBS sitcom “How I Met Your Mother” on Monday night. Well, kind of.
The show is about its main character’s narration from the future of the long path it took to find the love of his life. On Monday’s episode, that character – Ted Mosby – joined an online dating site, which was rigged by one of his best friends, Barney Stinson.
The photo on one of the first profiles that he viewed? ESPN’s Brown.
The joke was that Mosby wouldn’t notice that it was a trick because he never watches ESPN. Check the photo below of the profile from the show’s fake dating site, lovefinder.com, courtesy of Guyism.
And yes, Brown’s photo accompanied a description of her body type (“think Jessica Rabbit”) and fake occupation (“hot lady architect”).
Brown responded Monday on Twitter: “So I just heard that my “cameo” on How I Met Your Mother is on tonight! Check it out if you can!! ”
Brown, of course, recently found the love of her life by marrying Hollywood actor Wes Chatham earlier this month but this isn’t the first cameo from a lovely lady involved in college sports on the hit sitcom. Steve Lavin’s wife, Mary Ann Jarou, appeared on the show a couple years ago.
Is Matt Kalil’s mom next?
