Give former Georgia star defensive end David Pollack some time to mature from his playing days as he transitions into a color commentator gig with ESPN’s “Thursday Night Football.”
Calling it like it was during Thursday’s BYU-Boise State game, Pollack nearly described the scoreless first half between the two teams as “an offensive clusterf***.” Thankfully (unfortunately?), Pollack stopped himself short after uttering “cluster,” with play-by-play man Rece Davis saying, “That was a close one.”
It’s a good thing Pollack stopped himself short. He’s only been with the Worldwide Leader since 2011. That’s not nearly enough time to build up immunity from punishment from dropping f-bombs on air. Who does he think he is? Lee Corso?
