The Duke-North Carolina basketball game in Durham is on Wednesday night, but the Tar Heels have already scored a victory when it comes to pranks between the two.
It was reported on Wednesday that the mascot head of Duke’s Blue Devil mascot had been stolen. With the two hated rivals located just about 10 miles apart, the mascot head then miraculously appeared on North Carolina’s campus on top of a pole above the UNC student stores.
Let’s hope Duke has a back-up mascot head, otherwise we might witness the Blue Devil cheering on Duke with a towel over its head.
We love the mischief and hope the scoreboard at tonight’s tip-off reads, “North Carolina 1, Duke 0.”
