Not everyone associated with Texas A&M enjoyed a weekend as ideal as the Aggies’ football team. On Sunday, a redditor took video of a drunk man wearing a gray “Johnny Football” t-shirt starting a fight after he was not allowed to board a Southwest flight from New Orleans to Houston.
According to the redditor, the fan became irate after the ticket counter attendant refused to let him board. When a black man also waiting in line tried to subdue the fan, he started “dropping n-bombs and even made a comment about picking cotton.”
Following a brief fist fight, airport security arrived on the scene and apprehended the A&M fan. Chances that he was still drunk/feeling bulletproof after the previous night’s game: Very, very high.
As proof that taking video of random events sometimes pays off, the redditor — who was on standby — apparently got the seat that the drunk A&M fan had once occupied.
