It wasn’t nearly as graphic as “Nipplegate,” but Drexel forward Daryl McCoy suffered his own wardrobe malfunction Monday night in the Colonial Championship Game vs. VCU when the Rams’ Treveon Graham ripped McCoy’s shorts down in a bizarre sequence.
Graham was driving to the lane midway through the first half when he was fouled by McCoy in the paint. As McCoy reached for the ball after the hack, Graham reached for McCoy’s shorts and nearly ripped them down to the Drexel big man’s ankles in what appeared to be a deliberate move. Instead of being outraged, McCoy calmly pulled the shorts back over what appeared to be spandex.
You can bet opposing defenders will think twice about fouling Graham in the future.
