Div. III Guard Scores 138 Points in Game

If you thought Wilt Chamberlain scoring 100 points in a 1962 NBA game was insane, check out what Division III guard Jack Taylor accomplished on Tuesday night: 138 points in a 179-104 win over Faith Baptist Bible.

Playing in Grinnell’s trademark frenetic offense that is the equivalent of Oregon’s offense in football, the 5-foot-10, 170-pound sophomore guard crushed the previous NCAA scoring record of 113 points by going a ridiculous 52-for-108 from the field and 27-for-71 from the 3-point line.
