DePaul might want to think twice about coming up with new slogans in the future.
Ever since the t-shirts below were handed out during a Feb. 2 game against Notre Dame, the school’s new “Fear the D” shirts have grown in popularity and infamy. Is it due to rousing support of a team despite its 11–14 record? Probably not.
According to Urban Dictionary, “The D” is slang for penis, having been used as such by R. Kelly on his song “So Sexy,” among other recording artists.
If you combine this with Portland State’s “Get Horny” t-shirts from last fall, you’ve got quite the crude college shirt collection going.
