When Rich Rodriguez left his alma mater to coach at Michigan, fan reaction amongst Mountaineer fans was vitriolic.
San Diego State fans (we think they exist) haven’t been as bitter, save for one: former San Diego State player Kyle Turley. Yes, this Kyle Turley. During an interview with a sports radio show in San Diego, Turley made it known how upset he was that Hoke left for Michigan. Said Turley:
“I texted him last night a few choice words … this is exactly what I said to him: ‘I understand what you gotta do for you and yours, but just he same, ‘f— you and f— Michigan, go Aztecs and I hope you lose every damn game.’ ”
