We should all be accustomed to the fact that when his team loses, Tom Crean isn’t going to spend a lot of time on the postgame handshake with the opposing coach, as once again evidenced on Thursday night:
Nonetheless, plenty of people in the Twittersphere piled on the “Tom Crean is a sore loser” bandwagon again on Thursday night following Indiana’s 61–50 upset loss to Syracuse in the Sweet Sixteen.

Crean blew by that handshake almost as though he was paying homage to his guards’ defensive performance tonight

Crean doesn’t do the blow-by handshake cuz he’s mad, it’s because he’s afraid the winning coach may talk basketball and he won’t understand.

And another quick postgame handshake from Tom Crean. That couldn’t have been faster if Boeheim & Crean were on moving airport walkways.

Tom Crean took the EZ-Pass lane on that handshake with Boeheim. Hope he doesn’t get pulled over.

This latest incident was overblown but fans obviously didn’t shed many tears for Crean or his Hoosiers after previous incidents of poor sportsmanship by IU’s head man.
