We first wrote about Bad-Ass Masks back in January, when the custom facemask company designed a Bane-inspired facemask for Florida State LB Nick Moody that was … well, bad-ass.
Yet that pales in comparison to what they recently put together for Arizona: A face-mask in which the Wildcats’ “A” makes up the grill. “Crazy” doesn’t do this design justice.
Alas, don’t get your hopes up if you’re dying to see these in game action in 2013. Following the unveiling of the design on Bad-Ass Mask’s Twitter feed, the company explained several times that it was just a “display mask” and isn’t something that’ll be used on the field of play. However, they said “Having a more ‘blended’ design for possible field use.”
What are the chances that Hannibal Lecter from The Silence of the Lambs was the inspiration behind this design?
