One day after his mom allegedly ran off with his National Letter of Intent, Arkansas recruit Alex Collins finally signed with the Hogs on Thursday.
The running back from Plantation, FL – ranked the No. 117 overall recruit in the Class of 2013 by Rivals – signed his letter of intent to play for Bret Bielema’s Razorbacks with his dad, Johnny Collins, signing the papers with him. Collins made the wait worthwhile by showing up in camouflage clothes and a camo tie to sign – which will surely be appreciated in hunting-happy Arkansas.
Meanwhile, his mom that disrupted Collins signing on Wednesday because she reportedly wanted him to stay in South Florida has hired the Cochran Firm – named after the late Johnnie Cochran – to represent her after all the media coverage this controversy has received.
Why do we get the horrible feeling we haven’t heard the last of this drama?
