Former Florida State quarterback Christian Ponder is thoroughly enjoying his second NFL season. He has the Minnesota Vikings sitting at 4–2. He’s second in the league in completion percentage. And now he has the arm candy befitting an NFL QB.
Ponder confirmed in a hilariously forward Twitter exchange on Thursday that he is currently dating the very attractive Samantha Steele, who has ably filled the hole left by Erin Andrews as both a college football sideline reporter and the first-hour host of “College GameDay.”

Ponder, 24, is two years younger than the 26-year-old Steele and the started to raise eyebrows recently by routinely tweeting at each other on the internet.
It’s not just because of Steele’s good looks that we applaud Ponder’s choice in women. He has the right idea of dating someone who’s pretty capable of throwing a football in her own right.
