Many news outlets speculated that Kim Kardashian’s 72-day marriage to former Minnesota star and current New Jersey Net Kris Humphries was a hoax. Apparently, that hasn’t done anything to stem the tide of affection for the socialite and TV personality among current college hoopsters.
In a poll conducted by Athlon Sports, a sample of players at 50 schools in 18 conferences anonymously voted Kardashian as the hottest woman alive. She received 12.3% of the votes, with the complete poll as follows:
• Kim Kardashian (12.3%)
• Kate Upton (9.6%)
• Megan Fox (6.8%)
• Paula Patton (6.8%)
• Beyonce (5.5%)
• Stacy Dash (4.1%)
• Meagan Good (4.1%)
• Marissa Miller (4.1%)
• Gabrielle Union (4.1%)
We’re more amused by the fact that one player each voted for “my girlfriend” and “my mother.” Yes, those could have been genuine responses but it’s more likely that those two players didn’t realize it was an anonymous poll.
