If two Penn State students can help it, the plane-banner threats made against the Joe Paterno statue outside Beaver Stadium will not be carried out.
Penn State rising senior Jeremy Kahn snapped a photo of two college-aged males who had pitched a tent near the statue. (He also took a photo of one of them, by himself, an hour before.) Kahn shared the photo on his Twitter page along with the following.

It will be interesting to see if, in fact, more people show up to protect the JoePa statue and voice their support to keep it in front of Beaver Stadium despite the fact Paterno’s reputation was furthered sullied last week with the release of the Freeh Report.
