Diving for a loose ball is normally rewarded with a floor burn. Cal Poly’s Jamal Johnson ended up with a foot burn instead.
At a Mustangs practice on Friday, Johnson was trying to outhustle teammate Reese Morgan for a loose ball. From the looks of it, Johnson dove for it and Morgan stepped on him. The end result was a footprint on Johnson’s face that Cal Poly coach Joe Callero jokingly referred to as a “Shoe Print Tattoo.”
If Johnson had colored the shoe imprint in with black marker, he and Mike Tyson could have been face tattoo twins.
