Report: Favre New OC at MS High School

This fall, the Warriors of Oak Grove High in Hattiesburg, Miss., will have a former record-breaking NFL quarterback leading their offense from the sidelines.

According to a July 20 report from WDAM in Hattiesburg, Brett Favre is expected to be named Oak Grove football’s offensive coordinator for the upcoming season.

Fave has a history with Oak Grove, having practiced with its players during the last few seasons of his NFL career as he habitually pondered retirement before returning for another year. The school is just down the road from Southern Miss, where Favre set a litany of school records before moving on to the NFL.

Favre’s longtime agent, Bus Cook, says the job will “give him something to do.” We suppose Favre got bored with just wearing Wranglers and slingin’ the ball around with his friends all day.
