In possibly the most bizarre story of the 2012 college football season so far, Boise State’s football equipment truck apparently hit a cow while on the way to Hattiesburg, MS, for the Broncos game with Southern Miss on Saturday.
The picture below, apparently taken by a member of the equipment staff, was tweeted by Brian Murphy of the Idaho Statesman, with the following message:

The picture on Flickr is even more succinct: “Truck hits cow.”
As you can see, there is blood splattered on the front of the truck, which has a massive dent in it and has been showered with mud and/or cow manure.
We sure hope the cow survived this collision but judging from the photo below, it doesn’t look promising.
