Classic Barkley.
As reported on Tuesday, some Alabama players were arrested after pummeling and robbing fellow students.
Nothing negative about Alabama escapes Charles Barkley, an Auburn alum, which is why he took to the set of TNT’s “Inside the NBA” Thursday night to clown the Crimson Tide:
Barkley wore a bloodied bandage on his head and had some fun at Alabam’s expense. Kenny Smith, Shaquille O’Neal and Ernie Johnson tried to admonish Barkley, but the damage was done. Johnson couldn’t help but laugh continuously, while Smith told Barkley he was just a hater. But the line of the segment is clearly, “I got mugged in Tuscaloosa, Ernie, and my credit cards are missing.”
