We’ve written about several Alabama fans and their crazy tattoo choices. Those whom we’ve already chronicled can welcome a new member to their ranks.
One Crimson Tide fan got a very large back tattoo of 2009 Heisman Trophy-winning RB Mark Ingram. But not just any visage of Ingram. It’s a painstaking recreation of his touchdown celebration following his first score in the 2010 BCS Championship Game, when he lifted up his gloves for the crowd to flash the Crimson Tide “A” on each hand.
We shouldn’t be surprised by the great lengths Alabama fans will go to in inking themselves. Whether it’s Zack Smartt ($1,700 back tattoo); the unnamed, “moobed” Tide fan (Heisman Trophy chest tat); “Alabama Super Fan” Nathan Davis (Bear Bryant back tat); or even ‘Bama QB A.J. McCarron (BCS crystal ball chest tat).
Now that group has a fifth. Enough for us to start considering a gallery for these folks.
