We have no qualms with an Alabama fan getting a gaudy arm tattoo stating his allegiance to the Crimson Tide. We’re just unfamiliar with what it means to have allegence to them.
Said fan had a lengthy, pro-Alabama poem going almost completely around his left forearm. The end verse of it reads, “My pledge of allegence is ROLL TIDE.”
Whoops. While we’re at it, we might as well state some capitalization errors. Shouldn’t it be Pledge of Allegiance? And shouldn’t that be in quotation marks?
Oh, forget it…
