Franko House of Concord Community High in Elkhart, IN, went 3-of-4 from behind the arc in his team’s 52–38 victory over Westview on Friday. If we were the refs in that game, we would have given House four points for the trey he it at the end of the third quarter.
With 0.5 seconds remaining in the third, House took the inbounds pass from his end line after a made Westview free throw and chucked it at the opposite basket as if he were tossing a football in the park. Miraculously, the shot bottomed out, sending the Concord crowd into hysterics.
House, who committed to Ball State in September, displayed a quick release and deadly accuracy on that shot. The Cardinals might be wise to give him a tryout at quarterback for their football team as well.
