Wiggins’ Decision Gets Its Own Website
Perhaps more so than any college basketball recruit in recent memory, No. 1 recruit for the Class of 2013 Andrew Wiggins is making national headlines in advance of deciding where he’ll play in 2013–2014 — so much so that a North Carolina fan named Kenan Davis created a website devoted to Wiggins’ long-awaited announcement.
Simply enough, the website is whereisandrewwigginsgoingtoschool.com. There, fans can get the latest news on the Huntington (WV) Prep star, read Pete Thamel’s Sports Illustrated profile on Wiggins, watch Wiggins’ mix-tape, compare his stats to all-time greats and cast their vote at to where they think he’ll go. (As of 10:20 AM ET Sunday, Kentucky was the overwhelming favorite, with 69.29% of the more than 9,000 votes cast.)
With college basketball’s spring signing period ending May 15, many fans predict Wiggins will choose between the Wildcats, North Carolina, Kansas and Florida State by then. Otherwise, Davis will be more than happy to continue reaping the SEO rewards of his appropriately-titled website.
