UM’s Gardner Guarantees Win Over OSU
Devin Gardner may be entering his first full season as Michigan’s starting quarterback, yet he apparently has the confidence of a four-year starter.
During a Monday interview on Grand Rapids’ WBBL 107.3 FM, host Bill Simonson asked Gardner if Michigan was a championship-caliber team that was capable of beating Ohio State in November.
“We always have room for improvement, but this is definitely a championship-caliber football team that will win in the Big House against Ohio State,” Gardner said. “We don’t feel we’re inferior to anyone in the country, and we’re going to give it our all.”
Michigan fans probably love this moxie from their field general. Buckeyes fans (and especially players and coaches) will likely have this tacked to their lockers at Michigan Stadium on November 30th.
