Toledo O-Lineman Suplexes Own RB
When fighting for a first down against an undefeated team, you have to resort to certain things. Such as suplexing your own running back in order to get said first down.
That’s what Toledo’s Greg Mancz did with teammate David Fluellen against Northern Illinois on Wednesday night. Fluellen was tripped up in the hole by the Huskies defensive line, and it looked like he’d fall short of the marker. Realizing this, Mancz grabbed Fluellen, kept him upright and threw him backwards for the necessary first down yardage.
If Mancz was weaned on professional wrestling, it looks as though it finally paid off on the gridiron.
