Syracuse’s Christmas in Jewish Frat
The phenomenon surrounding Rakeem Christmas just got even funnier: The Syracuse center is, in fact, an honorary member of one of the school’s Jewish fraternities.
“Last year on April Fools’, I crashed one of the [Alpha Epsilon Pi] parties,” Christmas recently told Bleacher Report. “They’re a Jewish fraternity. And I was like, ‘Why can’t I come to stuff at this?’ And they said, ‘Because you’re not part of it.’ And I was like, ‘Can I be a part of it?’ and they said, ‘Sure.’
“So on April Fools’ they called me and said they had made me an honorary brother. I thought they were playing and stuff like that, but they literally were serious.”
Just ... awesome.
