Sean Salisbury Out at Lingerie League

If you thought things couldn’t get any worse for former ESPN analyst Sean Salisbury than broadcasting for the Lingerie Football League, you were wrong: The league just fired him.

The LFL announced on Monday that Salisbury will be replaced by former Flordia Gator QB Bobby Hewko in the booth for the rest of the regular season and postseason starting this Friday when the Minnesota Valkyrie take on the Seattle Mist on MTV2.

The site LFL360.com reported that, “Inside league sources indicate that Salisbury was released due to continued antics that frustrated producers.”

Salisbury, of course, is best known as the career NFL back-up and ex-ESPN analyst that was embroiled in scandal in 2006 for taking pictures of his penis and showing them on his cell phone at a Connecticut bar; his contract was not renewed by ESPN in 2008 after 12 years in the network.

Salisbury, 48, also is an analyst for the digital Total College Sports Network, but this certainly is another big blow to an already-battered broadcasting career.
