Reuben Foster’s Updated Tat Misspelled
Recent Alabama commit Reuben Foster spent so much time over the past six months waffling between Alabama and Auburn that it’s only fitting that it took more than one trip to the tattoo parlor to “fix” the giant Auburn tattoo running down his right forearm.
After decomitting from the Tigers in December, Foster said that he would keep the tattoo as a tribute to his cousin, Ladarious Phillips, a former Auburn fullback who was shot and killed at an off-campus party last June.
To reinforce the message, Foster visited a tattoo parlor to have Phillips’ name spelled out over the interlocking “AU” — only to have the first name misspelled as “Ladarius” instead of “Ladarious.”
Shortly after noticing the error, Foster went back and had an “o” inserted between the “i” and “u.”
