Penn St. QB Has Embarrassing Fumble

Penn State freshman quarterback Christian Hackenberg certainly won’t forget his first game at Beaver Stadium.

In the first quarter of Saturday’s game against Eastern Michigan, Hackenberg dropped back to pass and let the pigskin slip out of his hand while trying to throw it. The ball was scooped up by EMU LB Hunter Matt and taken in for the Eagles’ touchdown and a 7-0 lead.

Needless to say, this isn’t how Hackenberg imagined his first home game as a Nittany Lion going.
