Josh Pastner Erupts During Memphis-UCF
En route to his 100th win as the head coach at Memphis and the Tigers’ clinching of the Conference USA regular season title at UCF on Saturday, Josh Pastner expressed his disappointment in his team’s defense as if he were a bratty toddler throwing a tantrum at Toys “R” Us.
After a Knights 3-pointer gave them the lead late in the first half, Pastner absolutely lit into his players for allowing the trey. While they brought the ball up the floor, their coach went about flailing his arms as if to say, “But I want it now!”
Hey, whatever works. Memphis won, 76–67, to improve to 25–4.
