OSU Gives Hospice Patients VIP Tour

A pair of Columbus, OH, 90-year-olds, Richard Payne and Robert Evans, have both lived long and fruitful lives. They were both made all the richer with what they experienced on Tuesday, when their hospice program treated them to a VIP tour of the Ohio State football program.

In addition to seeing the trophies, title rings and other hardware at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, Payne and Evans - both of whom graduated from OSU in 1949 - got to watch the Buckeyes practice and speak personally with head coach Urban Meyer.

“Oh hell, I’m happy as a lark!” Payne told WBNS-TV.

Kudos to the Buckeyes for this heartfelt gesture.
