BYU Asks Fredette Not To Attend Class
Talk about a dream come true for a college kid: BYU has reportedly taken the step of asking star guard Jimmer Fredette to finish his classes online instead of coming to them because he has become too big of a distraction with fellow students gawking at him and snapping photos, according to the Glen Falls Post Star.
Said Fredette’s father, Al, to the paper: “It was getting too disruptive. He can’t go anywhere in Provo without being recognized.”
It shouldn’t be much of an issue since final exams at BYU start on Saturday, but that doesn’t make it any less awesome.
