Ole Miss Deals With Pink Eye ‘Epidemic’
Ole Miss’ bye week came at just the right time. In addition to dealing with the injuries that are commonplace to any football team, they’re also dealing with a separate “epidemic,” according to head coach Hugh Freeze: Pink eye.
Starting QB Bo Wallace sat out practice on Tuesday dealing with it, one week after center Evan Swindall had it. Based on the fact that it started with the player responsible for snapping the ball and has spread to the player he normally snaps it to, we expect that if any other Rebels player comes down with it, it’ll be the running backs and wide receivers who get it next.
