Mustain Subject of Upcoming Documentary

Quarterback Mitch Mustain’s tenure at both Arkansas and USC amounted to very little compared to his ballyhooed high school career. Yet filmmaker Matthew Wolfe found Mustain’s story to be captivating enough that he made a documentary on him.

“The Identity Theft of Mitch Mustain” — narrated, interestingly enough, by former Razorbacks basketball coach Nolan Richardson — will premiere at the Little Rock Film Festival in May.

“The thing I look forward to most is people getting to know him for who he is, rather than who he’s painted to be,” Wolfe said of Mustain — currently a quarterback for the AFL’s San Jose Sabercats — in an interview with the Fayetteville Flyer. “He’s a funny, funny guy.” Mitch Mustain profile
