Louisville Football: Bobby Petrino Reportedly Clashing With DC Todd Grantham
In news that will surprise nobody, Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino is reportedly already clashing with his defensive coordinator and players.
A feud between Petrino and Cardinals DC Todd Grantham has reportedly grown so tense that Grantham would allegedly have been fired already if not for his lucrative five-year contract that pays him nearly $1 million per year.
Players have also reportedly been displeased with Petrino, some of whom considered bolting in the spring for the NFL’s supplemental draft.
Talk about your reputation preceding you. It’s certainly bad news for a coach who hasn’t yet coached a single game in his second tenure at Louisville.
