Houston Coach Shows Off Sax Skills

If new Houston football coach Tony Levine duplicates the success of predecessor Kevin Sumlin, it would be music to Cougars’ fans ears.

For now, the Houston cognoscenti will have to be satisfied with Levine’s actual music skills. Which are quite impressive.

Levine stopped by the Houston school band’s recent practice, most likely expected to say a few inspiring words. But to actually take up the sax and make like John Coltrane? It seemed to take everyone in attendance by complete surprise.

This is the most unlikely saxophone cameo since Ron Swanson of Parks and Recreation was outed as a moonlighting performer named Duke Silver.
