Hawaii Fires OC on First Day of Practice
After “some issues had arisen,” in the words of Hawaii head coach Norm Chow, the Warriors fired first-year offensive coordinator Aaron Price on the first day of fall practice.
Price, who had served as offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach since February, was dismissed on Friday. His dismissal comes so close to the start of the season that Chow likely won’t fill his position this year. Rather, both he and two graduate assistants will expand their roles into Price’s former jurisdiction.
So much for hoping that Hawaii can improve upon its 3–9 season from a year ago.
