Grambling State Football Stages Protest

Comments

An already rocky season for Grambling State football during which the Tigers have gone 0-7 and parted ways with head coach (and former Grambling QB) Doug Williams appears to be getting a lot worse.

According to a report in The Shreveport Times, the entire Tigers team skipped practice on Wednesday to protest disrespect from the school administration - which includes not receiving all meals on road trips, having to take buses to away games in distant locations such as Kansas City and Indianapolis and the poor state of facilities.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday at Jackson (MS) State - provided that they can get a full team together in time to make the trip.
