Eastern Michigan Football: Eagles Keeping Cinder Block Entrance

In keeping up with its stadium’s “Factory” theme, Eastern Michigan will continue to make a cinder-block entrance at home games this season.

EMU players took sledgehammers to a cinder block wall before the team entered Rynearson Stadium on Saturday, which went viral due to the players needing an awkward 20 seconds to tear the wall down.

“It all goes back to the idea of investing, and working for something,” head coach Chris Creighton said on Wednesday at his weekly luncheon. “It is about putting on those steel-toed boots, and going to work.”

GIF-makers are at the ready.
