DII School Unveils Camo Hunting Helmet


Camouflage football helmets are nothing new to college football, but the ones we’ve seen have all had a military theme to them.

Division II Southwestern Oklahoma State in rural Weatherford, OK, has taken camo helmets to a whole new level by unveiling a hunting-variety camouflage football helmet:

Besides the fact this looks straight out of the movie “Deliverance,” the aesthetics of the football lid are just atrocious. No football helmet background should be a picture of foliage. Thankfully, according to Great American Conference commissioner Will Prewitt, it’s just an auction item and won’t be worn during a game.

In that case, at least the helmet can double as hunting gear for Bulldog fans. Grade: F
