DIII QB Tosses Mind-Blowing TD Pass

Nebraska’s Taylor Martinez wasn’t the only QB on Saturday with an ESPY-worthy touchdown.

In the third quarter of a Division III quarterfinal playoff game, Mary Hardin-Baylor and QB LiDarral Bailey had the ball on the two-yard line of Wesley (DE) College and led, 18–17. Bailey rolled out to his right and was nearly tripped up at the 10-yard line, but before he went down, Bailey underhanded a perfect pass to teammate Caleb Moore — over a Wesley defender, too — for the score.

It was the highlight of a sterling afternoon for Bailey, who went 16-of-20 for 195 yards and four TDs in addition to 141 rushing yards on 17 carries. Better still is that the Crusaders remained undefeated (13–0) after the 32-20 victory and will face powerhouse Mount Union (OH) in the DIII semifinals next
