CFB Recruits Discuss Most Insane Offers

Does a part of you wish that the type of seedy recruiting stories you see in He Got Game, The Program, Blue Chips and other college sports movies held water? If you do, Tuesday was your lucky day.

In a since-removed video posted by ESPN, some of the nation’s most highly-touted college football players discuss the craziest things they’ve ever been offered or experienced on their visits to campus.

Below were our two favorite “highlights” from the compilation:

  • RB Ty Isaac (USC signee): “They just showed me a really nice car and asked how much I liked it. They said, ‘If you’re here, it might be here with you.’ ... [I told them], ‘My mom and dad just bought me a car, I don’t need one.”
  • QB Cooper Bateman (Alabama signee): “Not naming any place, but definitely had two identical twins on my hip the whole time. They had dinner with me, out with me the entire night. As a player and a recruit, you don’t need that with me.”

Twins, seriously?!
