Boise State FB Updates Midfield Logo
Further proof that Boise State football has transformed itself from mid-major upstart to almost universally-recognized perennial power can be found with the updated midfield logo at Bronco Stadium.
“Boise State” no longer runs below BSU’s blue-and-orange rendering of a bronco’s head. In its place, the head has been made bigger and its neck has been made more apparent — a transformation similar to that of the Broncos’ Pro Combat helmets in recent years.
It’s an understandable change in midfield logo. Boise State’s rightful rationale at this point is probably, “Who else are fans watching on TV going to think of when they see a bronco’s head in the middle of a blue field?” Plus, it’s a nice upgrade.
