LSU-Alabama Game Had Hit And Run

While Alabama’s 21-17 victory over LSU on Saturday was the most exciting game of the year, there could be a potential tragic result from a hit and run that occurred near Tiger Stadium on early Sunday morning.

Blake McKee, a 26-year old, was reportedly struck by a car at 1:45 AM at the corner of Brightside Ln. and Alvin Dark Ave. in Baton Rouge before the car sped off and left him behind. McKee is currently in critical condition.

Reports WBRZ: “The suspect vehicle is described as a silver or light colored 1999 - 2002 Honda Accord EX with alloy rims, missing driver’s side mirror, missing center cap on the left front tire, and possible damage to the left front of the vehicle…

The victim’s employer is offering a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of the suspect. If you have information, call the Baton Rouge Police Department at (225) 389-7819.”

Obviously, we pray for this fan’s recovery and hope for the apprehension of the criminal who hit him.
