Ole Miss Fans Accuse ‘Bama of Spying

Comments

Ole Miss fans have a theory as to how Alabama pitched a 25-0 shutout against the Rebels on Saturday.

The Crimson Tide’s first-year associate director of player personnel, Tyler Siskey, was shown in the press box during the game, with ESPN color commentator Todd Blackledge pointing out how Siskey - who came to Tuscaloosa from Ole Miss - had been “very involved” all week preparing Alabama’s defense for the Rebels’ offense.

Ole Miss fans on Twitter took this to mean that Siskey was stealing their signals from up above. Naturally, Alabama head coach Nick Saban said at his press conference on Monday that Siskey “didn’t help with the coaching and was in the same position he’s always been in” and that “there’s no rule against what he was doing.”

“Spygate: Tuscaloosa,” anyone?
