Bad Typo on Virginia Offer to D-Lineman

Comments

Woodgrove (VA) High School defensive end Jordan Jackson committed to Virginia in April. It remains to be seen what his reaction was upon recently receiving a letter from UVA “formerly” offering him a scholarship.

Based on the lack of sarcastic commentary from Jackson, he didn’t seem to mind that the Cavaliers meant to type “formally” instead of formerly and was just happy to get a scholarship offer.

Still, as far as typos go, that one is very unfortunate. Imagine you make a commitment to a school and think you have a scholarship offer coming your way, only to be a former future recipient of one.
