Army Hacks Navy’s E-mail Before Game
Army football suffered its 11th consecutive loss to rival Navy on Saturday. But when it came to pregame pranks, the Black Knights were clearly this year’s winners.
Prior to the game, someone hacked into the US Naval Academy’s e-mail system and set out a mass message from a “Vice Admiral Michael Hiller,” the opening line to which was, “In preparation for the humiliating defeat Army will be dealing to us in the near future, I have some guidance to pass down.”
The email then went on to criticize Naval Academy students for not dressing neatly, not doing a better job preventing its Bill the Goat mascot from being stolen and, finally, not having cyber security that’s up to snuff.
If only the Black Knights football team could trump Navy’s like this.
